Project Name: Hylant Gives Back
My name is Shannon Orr and my organization, Hylant participated in Indy Do Day for this project: Hylant Gives Back
This is what we accomplished:
The Hylant Indianapolis and Bloomington office participated in four community projects for the 2014 Indy Do Day Campaign. On Thursday, October 2nd we had volunteers out at Conner Prairie that helped build props and set up for the Headless Horseman exhibit. We also had Volunteers partner with Camptown, Inc to go out and clear portions of the Gene B Glick Nature Preserve Trails. On Friday, October 3rd we did not let the rain damper our volunteer spirit as we had volunteers cleaning and working inside at the Damar campus as well as packed food boxes for the Hoosier Hills Food Bank in Bloomington, Indiana. Hylant is looking forward to the 2015 Indy Do Day!
We worked on: Thursday, October 2, Friday, October 3. There were 35 volunteers and around 0 total hours worked. We also provided the following skills to help with our project: Construction, Cleaning, Food Preparation, Landscaping, Painting, Moving, Artistic Help, Remove Debris, Food Distribution, Learning/Education
