Project Name: Marian Unversity Does Indy Do Day

Our Accomplishments!

My name is Elizabeth Barrett and my organization, Marian University Indianapolis participated in Indy Do Day for this project: Marian Unversity Does Indy Do Day

We worked on:

Marian University students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents, and friends will be volunteering around campus and our neighborhood, including projects at these locations:

-Virginia B. Fairbanks Art & Nature Park at Newfields
-Flanner House
-Riverside High School
-St. Vincent de Paul
-Tear Down the Walls
-International Marketplace
-Nina Mason Pulliam Ecolab
-Indy Cycloplex
-Riverdale Garden, Tea Garden, and general campus clean-up
-Students Taking Active Reflective Roles (STARR) initiatives (STARR is a group of MU students who go out into Indianapolis and actively work to make a difference through service to others. There project and location will be reported later.)
-Additional projects to come

We will also be hosting both a food and a clothing drive.

Marian University volunteers will gather at 3 p.m. for a kick-off celebration in Alumni Hall–complete with our President and mascot! From there, volunteers will report directly to their projects around campus and the neighborhood.
